Shirlene Standish – Acting CEO
Our CEO and Board of Management and is supported by a small number of paid staff and dedicated volunteers. Our Acting CEO is Shirlene Standish, who has many years of experience in working in the community service sector.
Our board consists of highly respected people from the surrounding areas with experience and a wide range of skills, from financial and legal to business and community service.
Mark Pellas GAICD- Chair
Mark has experience in transformational, business outcome focused technology delivering digital solutions to solve organisational and customer challenges. He is also an educator who delivers lectures on topics of digital transformation at Victoria University and Melbourne University to both under and post graduate students.
Mark has a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
Melissa Hardy – Deputy Chair
Melissa is a Director of Wellbeing Campus with an interest in mental health. She promotes partnerships with corporate stakeholders and community organisations to enhance mental health literacy and wellbeing outcomes in the workplace.
Melissa has a Masters Degree in Social Change and Development and has previous experience as the Outreach Manager of Greater Dandenong Volunteer Resource Service.
Kee Chi – Treasurer
Kee is a director of an accounting practice and has experience in business strategy and performance management, risk, tax, and transactional services across a range of sectors, both in Australia and overseas. She is a Chartered Accountant and a workshop facilitator for the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Stanley Goricane – Secretary
Stan is a qualified industrial chemist and has held various managerial positions at Monsanto Ltd, and BP Chemicals P/L with local and international responsibilities in procurement, sales, marketing, operations, and Occupational Health and Safety. Stan has managed his own business for over 20 years. He has been a volunteer in the Monash community for over 10 years.
Stan has a Diploma of Applied Science (Chemistry)
Terry Long
Terry has experience in business management in the retail industry, with a focus on project management. Terry retired in 2010 and became a volunteer driver at South East Volunteers, serving the community of Monash through his volunteering.
Terry has a Bachelor of Business.
Tamra Keating
Tamra is a Higher Education Executive specialising in organisational strategy, community development, with a focus on marketing, fundraising and event management. She has a strong strategic planning & relationship management experience and has a worked with people from a wide range of national and international backgrounds.
Tamra has Bachelor of Arts in Communication Management and a Master of Arts.
